## Ingredients
|
|
- 1lb beef
|
|
- 1lb pork
|
|
- Breadcrumbs
|
|
- 3 tbsp
|
|
- 2 eggs
|
|
- Chopped Parsley
|
|
- Salt
|
|
- Black Pepper
|
|
- 3 cloves garlic
|
|
- Grated Spaghetti cheese (Parmesan, Romano)
|
|
## Steps
|
|
1. Put meat in a bowl
|
|
2. Add Breadcrumbs
|
|
3. Add "Too much parsley"
|
|
4. Add 2 teaspoons of salt
|
|
5. Add a few grinds of pepper
|
|
6. Add eggs LAST, and mix until combined.
|
|
7. Form balls (Should Yield 12-14 balls, 1.5" -2" diameter)
|
|
8. Use a large saute pan to Sear the surfaces of the balls
|
|
- Start by sauteing the garlic in olive oil, then add balls
|
|
- Make sure to turn frequently to ensure a good sear
|
|
- You WILL need multiple batches in a 12" skillet
|
|
9. Add the meatballs to the simmering sauce
|
|
- They will need at least an hour.
|
|
- They will puff up, and the sauce will start to thicken.
|
|
- It will likely take 2-2.5 hours. The longer they simmer for, the more like the sauce they will taste.
|
|
10. Kill heat, eat a test ball, and put in refrigerator.
|
|
## Reheating
|
|
1. Put sauce and meatballs in sauce pot, cook until hot. It will take a long ass time for the meatballs to get hot in the middle.
|
|
2. If you're lazy, you can cut the meatballs into quarters and nuke them. |
