Ingredients
- 1lb beef
- 1lb pork
- Breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp
- 2 eggs
- Chopped Parsley
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- 3 cloves garlic
- Grated Spaghetti cheese (Parmesan, Romano)
Steps
- Put meat in a bowl
- Add Breadcrumbs
- Add "Too much parsley"
- Add 2 teaspoons of salt
- Add a few grinds of pepper
- Add eggs LAST, and mix until combined.
- Form balls (Should Yield 12-14 balls, 1.5" -2" diameter)
- Use a large saute pan to Sear the surfaces of the balls
- Start by sauteing the garlic in olive oil, then add balls
- Make sure to turn frequently to ensure a good sear
- You WILL need multiple batches in a 12" skillet
- Add the meatballs to the simmering sauce
- They will need at least an hour.
- They will puff up, and the sauce will start to thicken.
- It will likely take 2-2.5 hours. The longer they simmer for, the more like the sauce they will taste.
- Kill heat, eat a test ball, and put in refrigerator.
Reheating
- Put sauce and meatballs in sauce pot, cook until hot. It will take a long ass time for the meatballs to get hot in the middle.
- If you're lazy, you can cut the meatballs into quarters and nuke them.
